The Season Wrap Up:
I'ts ALMOST OVER- but it ain't over 'till the DJ drops the mic, people!  We did it- we returned to racing stronger than ever.  We PR'd, we went longer than ever, we challenged ourselves- both physically and mentally to be the best we can be, and as we wrap up the 2021 season, I want to thank all of you.  Whether you raced 0, or 20 races, you trained, were injured, or just took the season off- we stuck together, helped each other out and kept each other company in the pool, pond, on the bike, trainer, or on the roads.  Whew!  And as we slide into the end of the season, just remember- the off season is a great time to shift gears, focus on strength training, and have some low intensity fun.  

The End of Season Party:
Yup, it's 2 weeks away- and we are ramping up the planning.  Swag is exclusive for those who attend, so make sure you RSVP on our BSTT website, and get your tootie on over to the Fireside Grill on Friday night, October 22nd.  It's going to be awesome.  What's the plan?

The 2022 Destination Race:
As we move forward, we plan to select a "destination race" for those who wish to have a ton of fun and train towards a collective goal.  In the odd years, we will choose a full Ironman, and in the even years, we will choose a half.  The team has spoken, and the choice for 2022 is Ironman 70.3 Maine.  If this race does not happen, we will adjust and choose another 70.3, tentatively for late summer.

2022 Baystate Tri Team Sign Ups:
Please don't forget to re-up in the next few months so we can continue the fun together.. and invite a friend!  From now until December 31, the membership is discounted.  FOR ANYONE!  New member, or old- get in while the gettin'in is CHEAP!  So many benefits.  So many discounts, so much fun.. Good afternoon, BSTTies and a very happy Friday to you all! It's been an AMAZING season. YOU all have really stepped up your game- I think this has been an EPIC year for volunteering, competing, challenging yourselves with racing and training.. You all have SHOWN UP this season, and that's awesome. We have two races left on the Championship Race Series, and I cannot believe that we are a week away from SEPTEMBER!!!! Next up is PilgrimMan - this will be a great race- if you have not signed up yet, and are thinking you want to do a rolling sprint or later season half, this race is for you. Long Time, No BLOG! June, 2023

  Well, HELLO!   We have been super busy since we last blogged.. Between cabin fever, training day, ride out loud, and the start of the race season, we have been going NON- STOP.  Can you believe it's almost JULY?  Yikes! In the Blog this Month: 2023 Championship Race Series Falmouth Tri- This amazing FLAT and FAST tri is July 9th- if you want in, you need to sign up in the next 48 hours!  Get in, and have a blast! Nantucket Tri- If you like the vibe of the Cohasset Tri, and are looking for a vacation/race thing, sig up for Nantucket! Whaling City- We will be showing up in full force for this one- stay tuned for team info on how BSTT will try their BEST to win the #1 team award this year! Sea to Summit- This small scale adventure race will be on July 22nd, and we have a group of Bay Staters who will be competing.. it's more like "how we are spending the day"- so fun, self supported, what a challenge! Sharon Tri- We will be at Sharon on August 13th- not sure...

July 2022- Race Season is on FIRE!

Happy 4th of July, BSTTies!   Hope you are all getting out there with friends and family today to celebrate our fight for independence over 240 years ago!  This team has fought its way back from a pandemic, and we are now 132 members strong!  Each and every one of you are what make this team great, so go out there, do your best, train your best, and race your best!   In the news this month: The "Another Training Day" was a great success.  Thank you's go out to all who made it happen, especially Zach, who planned three bike loops so all athletes would finish at the same time.. like clockwork! We have Falmouth Tri coming up on July 10th.  This is such a great race!  Fast, fun and the run is super flat!  Get in if you haven't yet!
