 Good evening, and Happy Fall!

  As we wrap up the summer season, I want to thank the 2020 Board for all of their work, time and dedication to the team.  We started meeting last Fall, and have met monthly to achieve goals we set for ourselves collaboratively.  As we venture into the roll out of the last of the goals (supporting a community organization through fundraising), I am so grateful to all of the 2020 Board.  Shannon Porges will remain as VP, Debi Caprio will remain as treasurer, Sue Clavin will take the baton from Jeff Sweeney as training coordinator, and will also handle social coordination.  Amy Carlson will continue to handle sponsors, Hilary McCarthy will hand the membership hat over to Robin Ireland, Kevin and Bob will continue to work on uniforms/apparel, Chris Jordan will transfer the webmaster position over to Emily Gesner.  Volunteer coordinator will go from Darcey Fahey to Linda Chiofar, results will be manned by Bill Roth, and secretary will be Kathy Mulkern.

So, TWO BIG THINGS to report this month-

ONE: THE END OF SEASON SWAG SNAG

We will be holding our annual end of season party a little differently this year, due to COVID restrictions on group events.. so, get ready for the END OF SEASON SWAG SNAG.  That's right... Sue Clavin will be putting together some really great swag for you- all you have to to is RSVP, either to this email (email me), or through the event on Facebook.  Once we have you on the list, all you have to do is drive through, and pick up your swag on SATURDAY, OCTOBER 24th, from noon to 3PM at BIKE BARN.  I will be there handing out SWAG with members of the board!  Come and GET IT!!!


Details from the FB event: This "end of season" event will replace the annual Season Ending Party, as we are still not able to hold F2F large events... so, we stole some inspiration from the idea of drive-by birthday parties, and have come up with THE SEASON ENDING SWAG SNAG.What is it?
We, the BSTT Board Members will be on site at BikeBarn Racing from 12 to 3PM, stationed at an outside table and will have your Special Season Ending Swag ready for you to simply drive through and grab!
We will be wearing masks, and remain socially distant, but will still be having lots of fun with this! Get ready to be SURPRISED with all the GOODIES in the Harvest Themed baskets!

TWO: THE BIG FUNDRAISER...

We NEED ALL OF YOU to participate in order for this to make a marked impact. We will be rolling out our TEAM FUNDRAISER.. as we are a non-profit, part of our commitment to the community is raising funds/awareness, and this year we have chosen Homes for Our Troops as our cause. I want to see every one of us join in, and support this cause, on behalf of Baystate. The registration page opens Monday the 28th!

Good afternoon, BSTTies and a very happy Friday to you all! It's been an AMAZING season. YOU all have really stepped up your game- I think this has been an EPIC year for volunteering, competing, challenging yourselves with racing and training.. You all have SHOWN UP this season, and that's awesome. We have two races left on the Championship Race Series, and I cannot believe that we are a week away from SEPTEMBER!!!! Next up is PilgrimMan - this will be a great race- if you have not signed up yet, and are thinking you want to do a rolling sprint or later season half, this race is for you. After that, we have Buzzard's Bay Tri - this is going to be the end of season race for us, so I will be there with Johnnie and Patty grillin and chillin after the race. Long Time, No BLOG! June, 2023

  Well, HELLO!   We have been super busy since we last blogged.. Between cabin fever, training day, ride out loud, and the start of the race season, we have been going NON- STOP.  Can you believe it's almost JULY?  Yikes! In the Blog this Month: 2023 Championship Race Series Falmouth Tri- This amazing FLAT and FAST tri is July 9th- if you want in, you need to sign up in the next 48 hours!  Get in, and have a blast! Nantucket Tri- If you like the vibe of the Cohasset Tri, and are looking for a vacation/race thing, sig up for Nantucket! Whaling City- We will be showing up in full force for this one- stay tuned for team info on how BSTT will try their BEST to win the #1 team award this year! Sea to Summit- This small scale adventure race will be on July 22nd, and we have a group of Bay Staters who will be competing.. it's more like "how we are spending the day"- so fun, self supported, what a challenge! July 2022- Race Season is on FIRE!

Happy 4th of July, BSTTies!   Hope you are all getting out there with friends and family today to celebrate our fight for independence over 240 years ago!  This team has fought its way back from a pandemic, and we are now 132 members strong!  Each and every one of you are what make this team great, so go out there, do your best, train your best, and race your best!   In the news this month: The "Another Training Day" was a great success.  Thank you's go out to all who made it happen, especially Zach, who planned three bike loops so all athletes would finish at the same time.. like clockwork! We have Falmouth Tri coming up on July 10th.  This is such a great race!  Fast, fun and the run is super flat!  Get in if you haven't yet! We also have Whaling City Tri coming up on July 17th!  I can't say enough about this race!  Fast, flat and a BIG competition between Tri Teams.. stay tuned as Robin Ireland, the membership director will let you kn...
